Snoop Dogg Compares Kanye West's New Yeezy Slides To 'Jail Slippers'

It would seem Snoop Dogg has struggled for some time to keep quiet when it comes to slating Kanye West.

Recently the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' rapper commented on a new line of sliders that Ye will be releasing, comparing them to 'jail slippers'.

This all stemmed from a video Kim Kardashian West posted to Instagram, featuring her and Kanye's children trying on the footwear.

It seems the 39-year-old was promoting her hubby's new range of Yeezy Slides as she said on the video: "New Yeezy slides for kids OMG. They are so cute, so fresh. They're like rubbery and so comfy."

American blog The Shade Room reposted the video to its Instagram account, asking followers how much they think the sliders cost.

This was when Snoop Dogg, 48, responded saying: "She been getting dudes out of jail now he gone sell jail slippers. W. T. F. None of my bidness."

The comment has raked in over 20,000 likes with nearly 500 replies - mainly laughing along with Snoop as he touched upon the help Kim gave in getting a group of people released from prison, who had been locked up on low-level drug offences.

This isn't the first time Snoop Dogg has taken a swipe at Ye. Last year Kanye posted a picture of himself wearing a cap bearing the politically tuned slogan 'Make America Great Again', to which Snoop suggested the acronym stood for 'Make ya music great again'.

Before that, Snoop Dogg had taken a swipe at Kanye after those controversial comments on slavery, when the 'Touch the Sky' rapper suggested that 400 years of slavery was a choice.

Last week, it emerged that Snoop Dogg has hired someone to roll blunts - for the pretty decent salary of between $40,000 and $50,000 (£30,000-£38,500).

Speaking on The Howard Stern Show alongside fellow pot enthusiast Seth Rogen, Snoop was asked why he required a blunt roller, to which he simply replied: "I don't have time."

Rogen then heaped praise on the rapper's employee - who he had encountered when hanging with Snoop in the past - and said the guy had a knack of appearing with a blunt in hand at just the right time.

Snoop added: "Timing. That motherf***er's timing is impeccable. That's his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resumé, it says, 'What do you do?' 'I'm a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.' If you're great at something I need, I'm hiring you."

The guy knows what he wants, at least.
