Supporting Cast Of 'Harry Potter' Look Very Different These Days
In the 15 years since the first Harry Potter film came out, the cast have (obviously) grown up. After being part of one of the biggest film series' of all time, it's surprising to find out that not all of them have pursued a career in acting. Surely, that kind of opportunity would push them forward in their movie careers? Or were they stuck in a bit of a typecast kind of situation where they'd only be considered for roles that require them to wear cloaks and be schoolkids? Who knows.
Anyway, let's take a look at the supporting cast (we all know what Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are up to) and see what exactly they look like now.
First up, Dudley Dursley himself - Harry Melling.
After losing a shit-tonne of weight, he's starred in a few TV series like Merlin, Garrow's Law and The Musketeers.
Real name Clémence Poésy, has continued with a fair bit of acting work. Some of it has been French, some American. She's also very active on Instagram, and seems to be one of those girls who's too cool and loves art.
Devon Murray hasn't really done much acting since Harry Potter, but is still active at various Comic Cons.
Lavender, well, Jessie Cave to be precise, has changed quite a lot. She's released a book and become an illustrator.
Her drawings are... different. I guess she never really got over Ron.
Afshan Azad looks more like a Kardashian than a Ravenclaw these days. She hasn't done much acting since HP but she's very active on Instagram.
Seriously, how different does she look?!
Or Luke Youngblood as his mates call him (and the rest of the world) has had a really successful acting career, starring in Community and Galavant.
In real life, Pansy's name is Scarlett Byrne and she's a successful actress. She's been on Falling Skies and The Vampire Diaries. Plus, get this. She's engaged to Hugh Hefner's son - Cooper Hefner.
So there you have it, don't they all look grown up?! I also found out yesterday that Grandpa Joe from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory died in 1981. That's 9 years before I was born. So, if you didn't feel old already - have that.
