Sylvester Stallone's Family Entertain Themselves By Dressing Up As Tiger King Stars

Sylvester Stallone's Family Entertain Themselves By Dressing Up As Tiger King Stars

The Stallone family have proven there is plenty of fun to be had while in quarantine by dressing up as the stars of Tiger King.

The Netflix docuseries has been gripping and baffling viewers since it dropped on the streaming service and it seems the Stallones are hooked on it too.

Sylvester Stallone, 73, said in a post on Instagram that Tiger King fever had 'taken over', sharing snaps of himself, wife Jennifer and daughters Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet all dressed up as stars from the show.

Those who have watched the show will know that only one of the central figures in the true crime series is a woman, Carole Baskin, who Jennifer dressed up as using a floral headdress and some kind of animal print scarf. To complete the look, she tried to imitate the cat-obsessed Carole by transforming her lap pooch using some kind of pull-on lion mane.

With Carole taken, the daughters were forced to draw on facial hair in order to mimic other stars from the show.

Tiger King Creators Reportedly Working On Follow-Up About Siegfried And Roy

Sophia took on the role of main man Joe Exotic, donning a goatee, fringed jacket and a cowboy hat - but falling short of the full mullet.

Sistine whipped out the stick-on tattoos to play the part of Exotic's ex-husband John Finlay, while Scarlet went more niche, taking on the part of Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park employee Erik Cowie.

Meanwhile, Sly put his natural beard to good use, adding a bandana, cap and shades to pull off a pretty accurate Jeff Lowe. Who knows, perhaps the success of the documentary will see the story sensationalised for the big screen, with Stallone taking on the role of Lowe. Stranger things have happened.

If you haven't watched Tiger King yet, then you really should - then decide if you wanna play dress-up afterwards.

The series well and truly delivers on the 'murder, madness and mayhem' it promises as it tells the story of feuding big cat keepers in the US.

The seven-parter centres around eccentric zoo owner Exotic (real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage) - a gun-toting polygamist who looks after a roadside zoo in Oklahoma - and his bitter feud with rival big cat sanctuary owner Baskin.

The show's official synopsis reads: "Things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe's arrest for a murder-for-hire plot, and reveals a twisted tale where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner."

Truly though, this synopsis hardly scrapes the surface of the chaos encapsulated in this show, so don't be surprised if you catch the Tiger King fever like the Stallones.
