The Only Tweet Jonah Hill Has Ever Liked Is A Hilarious Self-Burn

It harks back to his 'Superbad' days.

Jonah Hill has certainly transformed himself, both professional and physically, since his Superbad days.

In the cult classic teen romcom, the then 22-year-old played the awkward, yet funny, high school student desperate to land a date or at least a kiss with one of the hottest girls in class: Jules (played by Emma Stone).

It launched his career and he was soon picked up for more comedies and has since ventured into more serious roles, requiring his appearance for each character to change quite dramatically.

With a meteoric rise to stardom, he's gathered millions of followers on the likes of Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

He uses those platforms pretty regularly to update fans about his projects and some of things he gets up to every day. But on Twitter, fans have noticed that he's only ever liked one tweet.

And it's a pretty decent self-burn.

Nice one Jonah.

It was a tweet from last year by the New York Times' Kyle Buchannan who said that Emma Stone is always a formidable presence in all her movies and the blokes she stars next to are not so fortunate.

The Easy A star has been in movies with Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man, Ryan Gosling in La La Land, Sean Penn in Gangster Squad and Woody Harrelson in Zombieland - that's a pretty decent set of leading men next to her.

Who knows who Kyle was referring to specifically in his tweet, but you can guess that Hill's name would probably be in the mix considering his Superbad character Seth was not 'emotionally generous' or 'robust'.

He and Emma Stone did reunite for Netflix's Maniac, which was really messing with people's heads.

At least Jonah has had some roles since which allowed him to show off his skills, namely Moneyball, where he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

His latest look has people comparing him to Jesus, as the 35-year-old is sporting luscious, long blonde hair. Hill shared a photo of himself on Instagram, writing the caption: "2018 was... interesting... be safe out there everyone."

With his beard and long, blond hair, many people reckoned he was rocking the ol' Son of God aesthetic.

Mind you, not everyone thought he looked like Christ. In fact, Instagrammers had many, many suggestions about who Hill resembled, ranging from 'Thor's other brother' and Jax from Sons Of Anarchy through to Gregg Allman and 'a BTEC Alan From Hangover'.

One person even dubbed him 'Jonah Cobain', referring to the late Nirvana frontman Kurt, while someone else thought he looked a bit like Tom Petty.

It wasn't long ago that Hill unveiled the look in the trailer for new film Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot, a biopic based on a memoir of the same name about John Callahan, the quadriplegic cartoonist who became paralysed after a car accident.

With Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, Hill plays Donnie, the flamboyant and eccentric leader of Callahan's Alcoholics Anonymous group, who refers to the members as 'piglets'.
