The Rock might be one of the most famous actors in the world, but his skills as a mimic seem to need a little work if his Arnie is anything to go by.
In an Instagram video captured on the set of his upcoming movie, Rampage, The Great One is seen toting a gun in front of a green screen and attempting his best impression of the Austrian-turned-American body-builder-turned-actor-turned-Governator.

Dwayne is a long-time friend of Arnie's and left him a class message to go with the video.
The Rock wrote: "When I was a kid, Arnold was one of my heroes. And when I first started in Hollywood, he was one of the biggest stars on the planet and was so supportive and welcoming to me, when he didn't have to be."
He continued: "First time we had dinner he said, 'You can take the brass ring to places it's never been before' in his iconic accent which clearly I suck at."

You said it first, Rocky.
Rampage is currently filming and is slated for a release in April 2018. The classic '80s arcade game is being brought to the big screen with Dwayne Johnson in the lead role, ably assisted by Naomie Harris and facing off against Malin Akerman as the villain.

The Rock had wheeled out his Arnie impression with greater effect in the past, telling Australian radio personalities Fitzy & Wippa about his love of the Austrian actor and advising them to attempt their own Arnies to gain favour with the former governor of California.

He might be the Most Entertaining Man in All of Entertainment, but he clearly needs to get his impressions game in order if he wants to take on the Governator.
