Paris Fury has left some Loose Women fans 'appalled' after saying she would be 'pleased' if her dog died.

Fury, 30, appeared on the show earlier today as the panellists discussed pet bereavement, telling the others that she felt it wouldn't be a 'sore miss' if her 'pooping machine' pet dog Minnie was no longer with them.

The mum-of-five, who is married to boxer Tyson Fury, said: "The dog is here and if the dog was gone, I know it sounds cruel, but it wouldn't be a sore miss.

"I'd actually be quite pleased because she's just another problem in the house. I've got five peeing, pooping machines in my house and then I've got the dog who's a peeing, pooping machine.

"Then I've got to feed them all, walk them all, wash them all... I just don't have the time to commit to this puppy dog.

"The kids are too young to do it all and what we said before, I'm the one who's been lumbered with the dog."

Host Charlene White explained she felt the same to Fury, as she'd never really had a close connection with an animal like her fellow presenters had.

White said: "You and I are very similar.

"Neither of us grew up with animals in the house, so the connection some people have with animals, I don't personally have experience of.

"And I don't always understand it. But you've got a pet now, do you understand when people are so close to their pet and see them as company and another loved one in their family?"

However, many viewers watching at home didn't share their viewpoint, with one tweeting: "As someone that would do anything to have their beloved little soul mate back, I am appalled by her utter lack of empathy."

Someone else wrote: "Did Paris Fury actually just say she will be pleased when her dog is dead? What a vile statement. Give that dog to somebody who will appreciate it."

Another said Fry 'doesn't deserve' Minnie, while a fourth added: "You shouldn't have a dog then, Paris. Disgusting."

Fury continued to say she understood people 'love their dogs', especially if they lived in a 'quiet home' with just one or two people, which would mean a pet would be a 'big part' of someone's life.

But she concluded that she simply didn't have the same 'connection' with Minnie.
