Kanye Told People To Tell Others ‘I Love You’ And It Did Not Go Well

Kanye Told People To Tell Others ‘I Love You’ And It Did Not Go Well

People reached out to their exes or people they've burned in the past and naturally that got emotions high

Kanye West is being battered by everyone at the moment.

After releasing a song that has the words 'poop' and 'scoop' way too many times, wearing a signed 'Make America Great Again' hat, posting ratchet shoe designs and taking to Twitter to post deep messages of philosophy and love, he's certainly won himself a new bevy of critics.

But while he's copped a lot of flak for supporting Donald Trump, he's also been busy trying to get everyone to love one another.

He posted a message on social media saying asking everyone to reach out to someone who they've disagreed with, hurt or wronged and tell them that they love them.

Hey, the sentiment was there.

It was actually a really nice message for people and was probably intended to spread positivity in the world, rather than hate, bitterness and grudges.

However, it didn't really go according to plan.

Some users have actually done what Kanye requested and clearly, they really wronged people in the past because their replies are goddamn hilarious.

Twitter

One person's reply consisted of: "Are you fucking serious? How are we even still friends on here, I thought I blocked you? I swear to fucking god on my grandmother's grave I hope you die in your sleep. You're sick in the head."

Another went for: "Fuck out of here with that bullshit!! You are the god damn child of Satan! I told yo ass I loved you like two months ago and... you ain't want nothing to do with me. Get the fuck out of my messages with your fungi ass having toes."

While a third person wrote: "Are you fucking serious? How the fuck are you going to send this to me Mary you know how I feel about you... You've got me fucked up."

Yikes.

Looks like there have been a lot of emotions - but hopefully Kanye will end up being the bridge to happiness that we all need and deserve right now.

It was a fun social experiment at the very least: maybe not everyone is supposed to get along.

Kanye has even hinted that he's willing to take his own medicine as well.

He's posted a screenshot of messages between him and someone called Wes, suggesting that he wants to put the mugshot of the plastic surgeon that treated his mum (who ended up dying from a combination of coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors) on his upcoming album cover. That would be an incredible olive branch.

He wrote in the message to Wes: "I want to forgive and stop hating."

We could all use a bit of that.
