Will Smith has posted a video of himself doing a 'hoedown' dance as he gets back to the gym, in an attempt to get in the 'best shape' of his life. But most important of all, he's looking pretty damn happy. Check out the clip:

The 52-year-old actor posted the 'hoedown cool down' clip to his social media accounts, and it shows him performing a little clap/cross-leg/foot stamp/spin around routine.

He commented on the video, telling his fanbase that he did 10 reps of the jig and people couldn't help point out that he's looking great.

Commenting on the video, one fan wrote: "Day 1 and you already look like 20 pounds lighter. WTF bro?"

Another added: "Why does it look like he is already super slim and fit?"

A third follower commented: "This mf having too much fun on Instagram. THIS IS WHAT I PREFER SEEING."

Just a week ago, the Bad Boys star showed off his physique in an appreciation post, where he wrote: "This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry."

But he went on to say he wasn't entirely happy, adding: "I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins...this is it!

"Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!!

"Teaming up with @YouTube to get my health & wellness back on track. Hope it works!"

It's worth pointing out that there is absolutely nothing wrong with how the actor looks right now, but who can blame a guy for wanting to get fit, stronger and healthier?

Oh and not forgetting, the whole thing has probably been put together to promote an upcoming fitness series.

This isn't the only time Smith has been transparent about how he feels about his body. He also posted a picture earlier this month wearing boxers and a jacket (he's Will Smith, he can wear what he wants).

In the caption of the picture, he wrote: "I'm gonna be real wit yall - I'm in the worst shape of my life.

Smith is known for transforming himself for roles, dropping and gaining weight and muscle as needs be, so he'll probably have no trouble at all.

It seems we're going to have some updates in the near future about how things are going for him. Stay tuned.
