Will Smith seems like he'd be the coolest dad ever. Imagine inviting your mates over for dinner and being like, 'Oh, yeah, that's just my Dad, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.' It'd be ace.

Now he's bumped his reputation up by yet another notch by starring in a parody of the music video of his son Jaden's song 'Icon' (from the 19-year-old's first album Syre), which came out last November.

The parody was posted by Will on Instagram as he paid tribute to his son's music reaching 100 million streams on Spotify.

"Congrats on 100,000,000 @Spotify streams, Jaden! @c.syresmith" he captioned the video. "It is a delicious gift to a parent to admire his children. Keep doin' you!"

The one-minute clip does a great job of ripping off Jaden's look in the 'Icon' video as Will is shown sporting a giant gold, grills, and a torn denim jacket - exactly the get-up his son is shown wearing in his vid.

However, 49-year-old Will makes a joke of the fact that he's no longer as 'fresh' as he once was, climbing out of a quite modest car in his shorts and slipping off his slippers to moonwalk in his white socks.

Syre was warmly received when it came out last year, with some publications calling it one of the best rap albums of 2017 and one reviewer saying that Jaden might even be a 'slightly better rapper' than his father. Ouch.

"J Diddy! I'm proud of you, baby. One hundred million streams!" Will says at the end of his Instagram vid. "Congratulations, man. A hundred million. Congrats! I love you."

Although he doesn't share much on Instagram - posting only around 60 times - Bright actor Will has proved a hit on the social media channel, making up for his lack of quantity with quality.

To date he's attracted around 7.4 million followers, all by sharing throwback pictures, heartwarming posts about his family and the occasional joke while he's at work. Not a bad way to keep a legion of long-time fans engaged.

It's one of the joys of social media that someone can reinvent themselves and surprise their fans - so all credit goes to Will for winning Insta once again. Jaden might have his number on rap now, but for now the Fresh Prince has shown he's still one of the funniest folks around.
