X Factor Star Lucy Spraggan Shows Off Impressive Six Pack As She Celebrates Eight Months Of Sobriety

The X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan has celebrated eight months of sobriety and talked about her newly found love of exercise while showing off an impressive six pack.

The singer shared a photo of herself with a towel wrapped around her waist and another her hair, with a beaming smile on her face to mark the milestone of eight months sober.

Sharing the snap the 28-year-old wrote: "Woke up this morning eight months sober as f***. My favourite reward for this part of my life is the absolute pleasure of finding fitness and pushing my body to do things I never imagined I could do. (Well, things drinking me could never do).

"Today I ran 12.2km and on my way back up my road I decided to start training for a marathon for when the world is back in action again. Because WHY THE F*** NOT!?

"Not having the choice to do whatever we want has made me reconsider everything... When I can I'm literally gonna climb mountains, I'm gonna do the things that scare the shit out of me, I'm going to party way into the night on the beach with my friends... I'm gonna do it all so hard, I'm gonna do it whenever I can and, most importantly, I'm gonna do it all so sober.

"I just got out of the shower (Budweiser prohibition was my shower beer of choice), I'd love to say I don't wear my towel like this all the time but I really do. T*** everywhere. Have a great evening."

Earlier this month, Lucy, who took part in the ninth series of The X Factor back in 2012, showed off an impressive body transformation with her fans.

Lucy posted a photo of her slimmed-down self inside an old pair of trousers, showing how much room she had in them now.

Her proud personal trainer Ryan Bradley also shared a post on Instagram with side-by-side pictures of Lucy 11 months apart.

Alongside them he wrote: "Two photos, eleven months apart...what this woman has achieved in that time is nothing short of remarkable, not just physically but also in her sobriety and the clarity that brings, it makes me doubly happy to be part of this journey not just as her coach but as her friend.

"Well done Luce, here's to the next chapter and beyond!"
