Teri Hatcher has revealed what late actor Matthew Perry texted her after the pair were kicked off a dating app.
Best known for her time on TV drama Desperate Housewives, Hatcher was good friends with Perry off screen, starring alongside one another in the 2015 sitcom The Odd Couple.
The Friends actor sadly died in October last year, after he was found dead in a hot tub at a Los Angeles home by police, with no foul play involved.
It was later found that the cause of death was 'from the acute effects of ketamine', according to the autopsy.

Perry had a sad history of dealing with drug addiction, though it was recently revealed that multiple people could be charged with the death of the beloved actor, as there has been a criminal investigation into his passing.
Stars of Friends reunited in the saddest fashion, as the mourned Perry's passing together, heartbroken.
However, one thing that stayed constant through the comedy actor's life was his quick wit, sarcasm and humour - a characteristic that several people associate with his best work.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Hatcher, 59, admitted that they stayed in touch over the years past the sitcom, and revealed a Chandler-type story from Perry that happened just a year before his death.

Apparently, both of them had been kicked off Hinge for impersonating themselves.
The Golden Globe winner said: “We would text each other a few times a year and, well, I’ve never told anybody this story but it was probably a year before he died that I got thrown off of the dating app Hinge because the app thought I was pretending to be myself.”
Hatcher added: “I posted about that on Twitter and I got a text from Matthew. He said, ‘I got kicked off of Hinge too! What the heck are both of us doing on Hinge anyway?’ I thought, 'Yeah! What are we doing there?!'”
In January, during an interview on Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone, the actress said that she initially complained to Hinge about being banned, but took it as a sign and decided she was 'definitely done with the dating apps'.

“Honestly, I’m happy. I have a really full life, a really busy life. I have beautiful friends. I, you know, it’s fine. I don’t need a man. I have a cat,” Hatcher admitted.
During the new interview, the 59-year-old also admitted that she rewatched Friends in the wake of her former co-star's death.
“I think that man was just brilliant, a comedic genius,” she highlighted.
“He has gone way too soon and he was always wonderful to work with. We had this cool intermittent, supportive relationship behind the scenes so I hope he always knew that I was there for him.”

In Perry's 2022 memoir titled Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,
the actor wrote that he spent $9m in his attempts to become sober, and had attended 6,000 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, also going into rehab 15 times.
