As his multi-million winnings from beating Conor McGregor wasn't enough, Floyd 'Money' Mayweather has won £100,000 ($130k) at a casino.

The American boxer, who has defeated McGregor in a tenth-round stoppage on 26 August, was rumoured to have made a cool $100m (£77m) from his victory.

In a video posted on his Instagram, the fighter with the 50-0 undefeated record can be seen saying '70,000 right here' whilst holding a stack of betting slips.

"But I just hit the jackpot right here," he adds as the camera shows winnings of $100,500 (£77,063).

The video later shows him with all his cash on the table, as his lounges on a sofa with sunglasses and one of his infamously flamboyant tracksuits.

With Mayweather's usual cockiness to the fore, the video also features a pair of shamrocks which could be a reference to Ireland, the home of Conor McGregor.

Mayweather, nicknamed 'Money', has certainly proven that he isn't called that for no reason.

The estimated $100m from the fight could increase his wealth closer to $350m (£268m) once ticket sales, pay-per-view income and other royalties are included.

It's similar to the same purse he took home following his fight with Manny Pacquiao two years ago.

Mayweather even attempted to boost his own winnings on the night of the fight by placing a $400,000 (£309,957) bet on himself to win in under 9.5 rounds.

However, bookies, despite looking into the legality of the bet, told him it was not possible and he changed his mind altogether - although it later turns out that Nevada State authorities do not have any specific rule banning boxers from betting on themselves.

Not that $400,000 would have made a great deal of difference to his bank account. It's believed that Mayweather's net worth now touches around £1bn (£770m).

The boxer has since announced his complete retirement from boxing.

In an Instagram post, he wrote: "Y'all still have to work however, I'm happily retired. At the end of the day, it's them Benjamin Franklins that matter to me, so the joke's on you.

"I've made smart investments, sorry for those who thought that I couldn't read, write, or count. Y'all call them watches, I call them time pieces. Y'all call them boats, I call them yachts. Y'all call them houses, I call them mansions. Y'all charter jets and we own jets."
