Doctor Reveals Easy Way To Find Out Whether You Have A 'Normal' Hairline

Doctor Reveals Easy Way To Find Out Whether You Have A 'Normal' Hairline

Plastic surgeon, Dr Anthony Youn, explained what the 'normal' distance between your eyebrows and hairline should be

Ever wondered where your hairline is disappearing to? Well, you might actually be in the category of 'normal' without realising and a plastic surgeon has revealed exactly how to find out:

Dr Anthony Youn has explained that you need to check the distance between your eyebrows and hairline to figure out whether yours is 'normal'.

Posting a video on his TikTok account (@tonyyounmd), Dr Youn was replying to someone who had commented on one of his other videos asking: "How far back did your hairline start?"

Umm, rude.

Anyway the distance Dr Youn describes is different for men and for women.

Speaking to the camera, he said: "In women the distance between the brow to the hairline is about five or six centimetres, 'normally'.

"In men that distance is about six to eight centimetres."

Turning to Dr Youn holding a tape measure to his forehead, he added: "So I measure about six centimetres. So stop throwing shade on my luscious hair."

He then asks people what their distance is so we all better dig out a tape measure.

Commenting on the video, Dr Youn reiterates once again: "My hairline is NORMAL."

It seems people are as intrigued as the rest of us with one person writing: "5cm but looks like 5 years away."

Another added: "Mine's 5cm at the highest part of my brow and 6cm at the lowest. Don't even say my forehead is big again."

Someone else however wasn't up for even having a look and simply wrote: "I don't even want to check..."

Another agreed, adding: "I'm afraid to even measure mine lol I have a big forehead."

Others started showing off, one said: "Bruh mine is like 3-4cm. Not to flex on y'all."

Feeling like there's too much hair around that area, someone wrote: "My eyebrows literally connect to my hairline and I have to shave it. I'm a monster."

Well that's cleared things up: we're all different and there's no 'right' or 'wrong' maybe just an 'average' distance.

As well as sorting out hairline worries, Dr Youn has also spoken about sleeping in underwear - simply, we always should have our kecks on in bed (he believes).
