A Chinese TV Host Smashed Down A Whole Candy Floss In Seconds

The world can be a miserable place a lot of the time - but then, just occasionally, there are videos of Chinese TV hosts slamming a whole stick of candy floss into their face in one go. Seriously, check it out. You'll feel better, I promise.

Every kid who has ever been to a local fair or carnival knows that it is the only thing that you want to eat before going on a possibly unsafe ride and being sick all down your new jumper.

Every parent also knows about candy floss - the teeth-rotting, sugaryscourge of every trip to the dentist.

Well, let me tell you a fact - candy floss was INVENTED by a dentist. They want you to eat it and get your teeth rotted. Think of the jobs being saved through every bag sold.

Once you get a bag of floss, though, you need to savour it. Eating it all down really fast is surely a one-way ticket to sick city, right It turns out perhaps not.

A Chinese game show host has gone above and beyond the call of duty during a competitive candy floss eating contest and the results were incredible.

In an astonishing act of quick thinking, she completely blows her opponent out of the water by ripping the floss off the stick, compressing it down into a ball and smashing it down her throat in one seamless movement.

It's almost like she has done it before.

The woman in question is the host of Chinese game show 'I'm the Winner' and she certainly is. Her opponent - who is also her co-host on the show - doesn't know what's hit him.

It's surely a straight 10/10 for style, lateral thinking, and execution.

Extra points are awarded for the bad-ass stare down to the camera once she has finished the full stick, before she then chews and swallows the whole lot.

As it happens, the Chinese are pretty big on their candy floss. They have guys who are straight-up floss artists who create amazing flowers out of their floss and sell them for about £2.50.

They're beautiful, and I'm sure that a lot of skill and effort goes into making them.

However, the candy floss master craftsman are probably better off not bothering with the lovely flower design if that TV host is buying from their stall.

She won't even have time to appreciate it as she slams the whole thing into her mouth in less than three seconds.
