A Fan Has Created A 'Batman Vs Pennywise' Trailer And It Looks Amazing

Can we get this made, please?

People have got a lot of time for fan made trailers, but when there's a really good one, it's nothing more than bittersweet.

So many good ideas that people want to see get put into action by fans who are savvy with editing software, but the realisation that there's a slim chance the ideas will become a full-length film or show is saddening.

The latest is a cross-over film imagined by Adeel of Steel, where Batman and Pennywise go head-to-head.

Initially, it sounds like pub talk, whereby someone has simply said: "Who'd win in a fight, Batman or Pennywise?" and the unanswerable question is debated over a table of pints. However, when you see the trailer, it really does peak your interest.

The clip was made using footage from this year's It, last year's Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Batman Forever in 1995.

It broke records when it recently hit the box office, becoming the highest-grossing horror film of all time, grossing $245.4 million as of this week.

So that, paired with Batman, which is a ridiculously popular franchise no matter what, would be nothing but good news. Sadly though, as said before, it's not just a case of someone slinging clips together for it to become a reality.

Don't get me wrong, if it did happen, it'd be great, but the amount of corporate and creative shit that would have to wade through would be monumental.

Even though it's unlikely to happen, fans of It will be happy to know that a sequel is coming.

'Chapter Two', as it is currently being described, will take place 27 years after the first movie. However, flashbacks will play a big part in the story, meaning some of the cast will likely return.

It director Andrés Muschietti previously informed Variety the plan was to start filming a follow-up in spring 2018. He told them: "We'll probably have a script for the second part in January. Ideally, we would start prep in March. Part one is only about the kids. Part two is about these characters 30 years later as adults, with flashbacks to 1989 when they were kids."

Speaking about this year's film, Muschietti told USA Today: "It's established that Pennywise takes the shape of your worst fear.

"He doesn't have a steady behaviour, he doesn't expose how he thinks, and that's what makes him really unpredictable.

"And because no-one knows what he'll do next or how, the space between appearances - with the occasional red balloon creepily floating by - becomes a feeling of dread that grows in people's minds.''
