It is one of the biggest franchises on the planet and tomorrow the movie spin-off of Breaking Bad lands on Netflix.

Now, most of us will be familiar with the Emmy award-winning series - probably having watched all five series three times over - but if you are one of the very few who hasn't quite managed to get around to watching it, then fear not.

The show's star Aaron Paul has done us all a solid and given a brief overview of the entire show from start to finish.

Appearing as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 40-year-old gave his own two-and-a-half-minute recap. Watch below, b****.

El Camino will be picking up from where the series left off following the aforementioned dramatic conclusion, originally shown back in 2013, which left fans with unanswered questions about the fates of various characters - especially Walter White's erstwhile partner-in-meth, Jesse Pinkman.

The trailer for the film shows Pinkman, played by Paul, sitting in his car listening to a radio broadcast of police investigating multiple deaths after a huge shootout.

But if you think we will be seeing a return of Walter White, I'm afraid you will be waiting a long time.

He's dead. Yep, I'm sorry to break it to you, he's as dead as disco, folks. But don't take my word for it, the series' creator Vince Gilligan can take it from here.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the release of the new film, Gilligan didn't offer much up about what fans could expect but he did address rumours of White's survival.

He explained: "I'm gonna give you that one... Yes, Walter White is dead."

There it is. So while the trailer has teased us with clips of Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) but it looks like they will just be flashbacks.

When it came to discussing the longevity of El Camino - given Breaking Bad's success - Gilligan added: "I think it's the last one of these.

"But then, probably five years ago or whatever the last time I was on this show, I probably said the last Breaking Bad episode was the last one of these too, so I'm just a pathological liar."

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will be available to watch on Netflix from 8am tomorrow (11 October).
