Rumours of an SM:TV LIVE reunion have been circulating for months and, I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty excited for it. I would love to see the Holy Trinity of Ant, Dec and Cat Deeley back on our screens.
Back in February, during an interview with Metro, the Geordie duo were asked about the chance of a revival, with Ant saying: "It's funny, because we were talking to somebody about this recently as it's 20 years since the launch of SM:TV next year.
"So, we were saying whether we could do an anniversary special or something, and we got carried away with the idea.

"If we did a one off, it would be on at 9.25am, with C.H.U.M.S and all that, and get Cat back!"
SM:TV LIVE ran from 1998 and ended in 2003, which makes me feel very old.
Anyway, despite both Ant and Dec showing a definite interest in the idea of a one-off show returning to our screens, we've had nothing concrete.
Until now.
Speaking at last night's BAFTAs, Ant said: "ITV have just agreed to it. They are on board now. We've had the first discussion now and it's going to be August or September next year.
"We can't say too much but we're getting the team back together! It'll be on Saturday morning again at 9:25!"

I hope they bring back Wonky Donkey.
The pair didn't confirm whether Cat would be back, however, during a recent episode of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, the trio were reunited.

And while on stage Ant asked: "Now, Cat, that will be 20 years next year, I reckon - we were talking - we should do a 20-year reunion next year."

Cat had a little think before agreeing. Ah, I can't wait for this.
