Ant and Dec have been together on British television screens for so long that they might as well be a couple. But have you ever wondered what it would look like if they had a kid?

The correct answer to that question should be 'no', but the country has found out anyway after the presenters spotted someone on Saturday Night Takeaway who looks remarkably like a mash-up of both of them. Maybe they should be having a chat with their parents to find out what they've been up to...

CHECK OUT ANT AND DEC'S 'LOVE CHILD' OWEN BELOW:

On last night's episode of the Saturday night show - the show's 100th - viewers were stunned as Dec introduced a bloke in the audience, Owen, who has repeatedly been told he looks like Ant and Dec's 'love child'.

"In other words, a very, very handsome young man," Dec said, complimenting the bloke.

Apparently, Owen's gotten so used to it that whenever he sees the Geordie TV presenters on TV he's known to say: "There's my dads." Well, might as well be open about it.

Just to prove the point, the show then compared Owen's face to a picture of Ant and Dec doing face swap on their phones - and, we have to say, the resemblance was spooky.

It was an eventful night all round on the Saturday night variety show, which also saw co-presenter Scarlett Moffatt embroiling herself in a supposed fixing scandal.

The I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here! veteran had been sent to grab a couple from the pub and take them back to their house, which had been turned into a gunge-filled obstacle course. Don't know about you, but I'd have been pretty brassed off.

The couple were told that if they found four boarding passes, they'd be able to win a trip abroad. Yet after minutes of searching in a slime-filled paddling pool, the couple and Scarlett could only find three.

The woman handed Scarlett the third boarding pass she had found, before Scarlett dunked it back in the slime and casually fished it out pretending it was the fourth one.

Helping the couple win's not the worst crime in the world - this is Saturday night entertainment, not Watergate, and after all their house did just get wrecked.

Nevertheless, eagle-eyed viewers called Scarlett out, saying the game was a massive 'set-up'. We're still more interested in Owen's parentage, tbh.
