Avengers: Endgame Is Completely Finished And Ready To Watch

We've only got seven weeks to go until Avengers: Endgame is released, and it's been confirmed that production is finally finished.

Thanks to a tweet from the account of directors The Russo Brothers, we have all we need to get well and truly excited for the blockbuster, which is set for release on 26 April.

Following re-shoots, editing and special effects sessions, the pair shared this shot on their official Twitter page, saying the sequel had been 'picture-locked' - a fancy filmmaker term for finished.

It shows a selection of lovely, chocolatey snacks on their 'editorial sundae table' - a concept that is definitely going in the LADbible office suggestion box.

The Russos have definitely cut it fine with this one. Back in January, word got out that many of the cast had been called back for re-shoots - just four months until release date.

But now we know it's all finished, the speculation can really begin.

In a long line of theories about what to expect, one recent suggestion is that the answer may lie in Marvel blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy, which was part of the lead-up to the previous Avengers movie, Infinity War.

In a fan thread on Reddit, one fan says it references a 'group of extraordinary beings' who must come together and harness the power of the infinity stones. The Avengers maybe?

The theory states: "When they bring the orb to the collector and he tells the first story of the infinity stones I believe we hear in the MCU. One key part is when he says something like 'once a group of extraordinary beings managed to harness the power of the stones and shared the power amongst themselves briefly before they were destroyed'.

"Who would be an extraordinary group of beings? The Avengers. What if in order to undo the effects of the snap, they must gather the stones and truly harness their power to fix whatever Thanos did.

"Thor - reality stone (Dark World) Hulk - power stone (obvious reasons) Cap - soul stone (back in time, sacrifice Peggy) Stark - space stone (how he gets home) Ronin - mind stone (been under the influence) Widow - time stone (no real reason, defaults).

"Antman becomes extra important because the only way to ensure Thanos can't win is to attempt this power share in the quantum realm so the stones take effect across all times, realities, and existences."

Might seem a bit far-fetched, but with only seven weeks left until all is revealed, we won't be kept guessing for much longer.
