'Avengers: Infinity War' Is Coming To Netflix On Christmas Day

Well, if you're going to fall asleep in front of something, make it this...

Christmas Day is a special time of the year. It's the day the Jesus was born - sort of - and a day to spend surrounded by the love and togetherness of your family.

Oh, and Avengers: Infinity War is coming to Netflix this Christmas Day.

If you're going to spend Christmas afternoon trapped between sleep and waking - as is tradition - then why not do it in front of that? You know it makes sense.

It's got to be better than watching the Queen's speech or that scene in Only Fools and Horses where Del Boy falls through a bar for like the millionth time.

This news was announced on Twitter by @NXOnNetflix, an account connected with the streaming service that describes itself as being "the @netflix space to live everything super, sci-fi, the fantastic, and beyond."

Sounds as if they might have an inkling as to what is going to happen on there, then.

The folks behind the account said: "Oh, snap. Avengers: Infinity War is coming to @Netflix on December 25."

Excellent news - although it looks as though this is just in the US and Canada for the time being. Netflix has not yet replied to LADbible's request for confirmation of this.

Sure, a lot of parents might have already gone out to buy the DVD/Blu-ray copy of Infinity War for their Marvel obsessed offspring, but that's why purchases come with receipts and shops have returns policy. Don't worry too much about it.

If you're looking for some Marvel to whet your appetite before then, there is already a whole host of films on the streaming platform to get stuck into.

You could watch Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America. Three whole Iron Man films are on there. Deadpool, anyone?

See, you could basically fill all of the hours between now and then sleeping, then waking up and watching Marvel flicks.

You'd definitely be up to speed for them to come together and fight off the advances of the evil Thanos in Infinity War.

With regards to the forthcoming Avengers movie - the as yet unnamed project - there have been rumours that the first trailer could drop in the coming days, more specifically, this Friday.

As in this Friday, 23 November.

OK, so we've got no official confirmation of this yet, but several people who are supposedly 'in the know' have said that it is happening.

Jeremy Conrad, the author of MCU Cosmic said that there are 'whispers of the number 23 being spread around'. SuperBroMovies' Daniel R also said that he had been told as much by a 'very reliable source'.

Obviously, that could all be bollocks, but let's wait and see.
