Who saw this coming?! Well, I guess everyone who knew that the new season got the green light in June of this year.

Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman and JB Smoove are set to return, with Garlin as Executive Producer alongside Jeff Schaffer.
HBO programming president Casey Bloys said: "We're thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can't wait to see what he has planned."
If you've never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm before, basically it stars writer, comedian and Seinfeld co-creator David as a semi-fictional version of himself - basically, a much more dramatic depiction. Imagine cringe humour with a load of social faux pas. It follows his life, and it's bloody brilliant.

The show boast 80 episodes to date, and as a result is HBO's longest-running scripted comedy or drama series. The plotlines are decided beforehand, but much of the dialogue is improvised by the actors. This technique is known as 'retroscripting'.
Anyway, as you can imagine, the news of an official premiere date has sent the internet into meltdown.
This all sounds pretty... pretty... pretty good.
