Jason Momoa Spotted With 'Game Of Thrones' Cast Sparks Speculation He'll Return For Last Season
The list of fan theories about what HBO is planning for the final season of Game of Thrones is arguably as big as the books that sparked the TV show. Plenty of people are speculating about who will return, who will die, who will be betrayed, and whether Jon and Dany will continue their incestuous relationship.
Fans went wild when Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) and his Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) got together in London recently while the actor was promoting his new film Justice League.
But that doesn't appear to be the only reunion that's happened between the leader of the Dothraki and his Game of Thrones screen mates.
Jason has posted a bunch of photos to Instagram, with the caption: "Unite the clans. 24hrs in Belfast GOT Super honored to once apart of this show. I love seeing all my friends and new ones @khivju your a fucking legend Mad crazy love to Dan and David and everyone I saw I know u just started good luck with filming the greatest show in history have fun Aloha Drogo [sic]."

He tagged Kristofer Hivju in the post, who plays the universally loved Tormund Giantsbane. Momoa is also pictured with Kit Harington, Liam Cunningham and the show's creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, among other actors.
But while it might have been just a catch up, fans reckon this could mean Jason might reprise his badass role for season eight of Game of Thrones. One person wrote: "You really expect me to think you were just there to 'hang out'? Come on man. We know you're gonna be on an episode and can't wait."
Another wrote: "Please have Khal Drogo in the last season. Even if it's just a dream."
To be fair, that would be the most likely scenario if he did return for the final instalment. Even though there have been a few characters brought back from the dead throughout the show - it's usually done pretty quickly after they died.
There could be a Star Wars/Lion King style scene in the final season where Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) looks to the heavens or into the fire to find solace and guidance on how to proceed and Drogo speaks to her.
The other theory is that Jason was just grabbing a few pints with his old cast mates while they were in the same city. Considering that the last season isn't expected any time soon, looks like we'll just have to wait and see.
