Prince Harry And Prince William Set To Play Stormtroopers In 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'

The latest film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is almost upon us (best Christmas present ever) and we're chockablock full of theories about who is the last Jedi (Luke? Rey? Someone else?) and who turns to the dark side.

But little did we know that we were going to be treated to some amazing cameos in the form of Prince Harry and Prince William.

What about Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle - maybe they're Trekkies, who knows. It's good to be Royal - cameos in the epic saga that is Star Wars is almost as cool as being a prince.

Unfortunately, the princes won't be showing their faces on celluloid - they'll be in Stormtrooper costumes, so we might have to guess which one is which.

And they're not the only unlikely cameos - Tom Hardy and Take That's Gary Barlow are also in the new film.

The weirdest foursome ever.

Anyway, apparently all four - that's right, Hardy, Barlow and Prince William and Harry - are in the same scene, guarding Finn played by John Boyega. So we know that Finn gets caught (or at least pretends to). Will one of the princes get a speaking role?

To be honest, I doubt they're very good actors, but it would be a crime if Tom Hardy didn't get something menacing to say.

And it's not a rumour - Boyega has confirmed it because let's face it, he can't keep a secret.

He said it was weird to see the famous actor, singer and members of the Royal family 'wrapped in Stormtroopers costumes' and made for a 'strange contrast of a weird family'. He told the Hollywood Reporter: "It's the best of both worlds for me."

Apparently filming with the four of them was fun rather than intimidating. To be honest, the princes aren't very scary.

In the last Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, we had some secret cameos too in the form of James Bond (Daniel Craig) himself as a Stormtrooper. All they have to do is top that.
