Big Brother Housemate Says He's 'Had Sex With A Premier League Footballer'

Big Brother Housemate Says He's 'Had Sex With A Premier League Footballer'

Who cares?

To be honest, when I was told someone had said something 'controversial' on Big Brother, my immediate response was, "Big Brother is still going?"

But here we are anyway.

So this year's house isn't actually labelled 'Celebrity Big Brother' but there are some nobodies who probably think of themselves as celebrities inhabiting the house.

There's that bloke who is going out with Vicky Pattison from Geordie Shore and there's a guy who was on X Factor for five minutes last year too.

All in all, it's a bit of a shit-show and I personally can't believe it keeps getting commissioned.

Regardless, one housemate, Ryan Ruckledge (the X Factor one), has found himself in a spot of bother due to some Twitter controversy about transphobic comments to a former Big Brother winner. It's all a bit of a mess.

But in what is a definite attention-seeking stunt, Ruckledge has now announced he had sex with a Premier League footballer.

Stop. The. Press.

As you can see from the video, he's going to sell the story to the papers because that's so clearly the right thing to do in this situation.

The press will of course 100% lap it up as football is still decades behind modern society when it comes to acceptance of homosexuality - it's a macho man's game after all (please please please get the sarcasm).

A footballer being gay shouldn't be news but unfortunately it is, which means whoever it is (if it's even true) is going to have their named dragged through the mud simply because of the profession they're in.

No one would bat an eye-lid if an accountant came out as gay... but a footballer!? The shock. The horror.

Big Brother is on Channel 5 at 9pm. Let this ridiculous witch-hunt begin.
