The rumoured line up for the new series of 'I'm A Celebrity' brings with it some little surprises

It's that time again, the dark nights are drawing in, X Factor is haunting us every weekend and it means only one thing - I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2018 is on the horizon.

It's set to be totally different this year round - Ant McPartlin won't be returning, Holly Willoughby will be taking over the co-hosting spot and Kiosk Keith is no more.

But someone rumoured to fill each and every nook and cranny in that lovely Australian jungle is none other than Conor McGregor.

He is arguably UFC's biggest star so we doubt he needs the cash but maybe he'll be up for making a comeback after his recent defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The 30-year-old Irishman has been suspended for one month on medical grounds which will run until November 6. With I'm A Celebrity launching in mid-November - this could just be a pre-shred before training begins and let's face it, he'll be earning a little bit of dollar at the same time.

But we doubt ITV will be shelling out anything close to his most recent payout which was a cool $3 million flat - despite losing. So on second thoughts, maybe he won't waste time in the jungle.

According to the Mirror, bookies have cut the odds that Conor will be entering the world of Bushtucker Trials, critters and a bowl of good old rice and beans.

Jessica Bridge from Ladbrokes told the Mirror: "McGregor's faced a fair few snakes in UFC, so the celebrity jungle should be a breeze for the Irishman."

The only thing potentially holding him back though is the small problem that he doesn't believe he qualifies as a 'celebrity'.

In an interview with GQ he said: "People think I'm a celebrity. I'm not a celebrity. I break people's faces for money and bounce."

Other celebrities, or normal people just like Conor, rumoured to be entering the jungle are Alexanda Cane, she was in Love Island and got pied by Dr Alex (still not sure what the hell he was thinking).

She told the Metro: "I know I'm A Celeb don't like Love Island people but I'm determined! I will go on that show because I love everything they get involved in.

"I love a bit of danger. I love snakes and I don't mind spiders so I think I'd be really good on the show. I'd win everyone meals in the camp. Lara Croft vibes!"

Stephen Bear is also a potential camper and we can't help but kind of hope McGregor goes in there just to see what happens...

Bear has dabbled in pretty much anything reality TV, Shipwreched: The Island, Ex on the Beach, Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Big Brother. You name it, he's more than likely tried it.

Another rumoured famous face is Sam Smith. Sam Smith. One more time, Sam bloody Smith. And want to know why he's rumoured? Because he once wrote on Twitter: "I wanna go camping so badly at the moment. No idea why."

Just like everyone with an urge to have a night on the karaoke immediately puts themselves forward for the X Factor...
