Since the very public break-up of Branjelina, with Jolie filing for divorce and asking for custody of all six children, Brad Pitt has released a statement.
The 52-year-old said: "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids.
"I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."

In the statement released to PEOPLE, he continued: "I think when a couple faces a difficult trial in life together, whatever that may be, it either tears you apart or brings you together."

The couple, who have been married for two years, but have been together for 12 years, met on the set of Mr and Mrs.

They have six children altogether - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight. Pax, Maddox and Zahara have been adopted by Pitt and Jolie over the years.
Furthermore, 10 pages of Jolie's divorce papers have also recently been released.
