Celebrity Big Brother: Five Housemates Nominated For A Double Eviction On Friday

Well, it's been another day in the Celebrity Big Brother household, and we're all surprised that anyone can contain their excitement after such a rip-roaring first week.

India Willoughby has left after the women had their chance to nominate people for eviction. She was voted out instead of Jonny Mitchell, who was also chosen to face the chop.

This week, the men in the house have had their say on who they think should be booted, and Big Brother had a little surprise in store for them.

This Friday (19th January) will see two housemates leave the house for the price of one, and five of the celebrity guests are up for eviction.

This shock move was announced on the CBB extra show 'Bit On The Side' last night, so we don't know yet who has voted for who.

Shane/Courtney Act remains the bookies' favourite, but dark horse Ann Widdecombe has shot up the charts to become second favourite with some odds makers.

Those up for eviction this week are - deep breath - former politician Widdecombe, footballer/rapper John Barnes, Boris' sister Rachel Johnson, former Apprentice contestant Andrew Brady, and full-time charisma vacuum Dapper Laughs, AKA Daniel O'Reilly.

Former contestant Michelle Heaton said on CBBBOTS (Get with the lingo...): "I'm really shocked that Andrew and Daniel are up. I'm really confused about the nominations."

One person wasn't surprised by last night's events. The house's first evictee, India, weighed in on the subject.

She said: "Think we saw earlier on in the clip Rachel planting a little bomb with Daniel about Ann. For me, its karma Rachel is up. I would like Rachel or Ann to leave."

The task before the nominations saw Ashley James win immunity from the evictions. A gang of young kids was let loose into the house and the housemates were told to keep them sat still for as long as possible in what was supposedly a test of determination and mental toughness.

However, Big Brother is a tricky bastard, and the real test was to see who the kids thought was the best.

Luckily for humanity, most of them turned out to be OK at it. John Barnes gave off a particularly fun-Dad vibe throughout, and even Dapper Laughs seemed like he knew what he was doing.

One guy who definitely should know what he was doing was rapper Ginuwine (real name Elgin Lumpkin, yes ELGIN LUMPKIN). He has nine kids and probably an unfair advantage.

Anyway, six of the young whipper-snappers thought Ashley was the best, so she won her immunity.

We can only imagine what the next excitement-packed instalment will bring. Watch this space.
