Chris Pratt Discusses Awkward Sex Scenes With Jennifer Lawrence

As promotion for Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence's new film, Passengers, really picks up, the acting duo have risen to the height of popularity.

First Pratt wowed everyone on The Graham Norton Show with his rather unorthodox magic skills, and then the pair left everyone in hysterics when laying into each other on BBC Radio 1's 'Playground Insults' game.

Chris Pratt stole the show on Radio 1, saying that during the pair's sex scene he felt J-Law's dick rub against him.

He's spoken yet again about their onscreen romp. As you'd imagine, having to simulate sex in front of a load of lights, cameras and people starring at you is rather uncomfortable.

Because of this, the Guardians of the Galaxy star had to make the scene less awkward for Jennifer.

"I don't want to make generalisations based on gender, but I feel the responsibility falls on me [to make my co-star comfortable], and I've been in that situation a couple times," Pratt said in a recent SiriusXM interview.

"Essentially, it's your job to just minimise the discomfort by, you know, making sure there's nobody else on set than is required, having a closed set, periodically checking in, and just doing everything you can to assure the person you're with that they're okay."

Due to the nature of the sexual experience, the 37-year-old feels like there's nothing sexy about the entire thing.

He continued: "For all the sense of anxiety that comes leading up to a scene like this, you get into it and you realise there's really nothing sexy about it at all. It's just really awkward.

"But you know, it's part of the gig and you just do what you can to check in with the other person and try to minimise any discomfort that they feel."

So there you have it - having sex with Jennifer Lawrence isn't all it's cracked up to be, kind of.
