We all knew it was going to happen. There were already so many rumours, all we needed was Marvel and Fox to say the words.
Well now they have. Deadpool 2 is official, it was revealed at CinemaCon today, Verge reported. 20th Century Fox exec Stacey Snider confirmed the news, adding that both Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller would return for the sequel. This all seems very familiar, as news circulated that it would happen as soon as Deadpool was released in February, but it's officially official now.
Snider also said that in addition to Miller, the entire creative team would be returning.

Can the dick jokes be as charming second time around? We certainly hope so, and the addition of Cable will make a huge welcome difference.
20th Century Fox previously announced that they reserved the dates of October 6, 2017 and January 12, 2018 for untitled Marvel films. Deadpool 2 will likely take one of those slots.
