Deadpool 2 Trailer Could Be Closer Than You Think After Ryan Reynolds Signs Deal With Fox

The merc with a mouth’s second outing could have a full trailer as early as February, and Josh Brolin is on board to play Cable.

So, it's been a while now and we still haven't seen a full Deadpool 2 trailer. We know it is coming, and there have been a whole load of teaser trailers and the like, but nothing you could hang your hat on at cinemas.

They have been going about promoting the film in other, more bizarre ways.

Last November, a 'special issue' of Good Housekeeping magazine featuring the motor mouthed mercenary that included recipes from the anti-hero's own personal cookbook including 'D's Spiced Nuts' and 'Creamy Clam Skinny Dip'. Delightful, I'm sure you'll agree.

It even included a note from the editor of GH, Jane Francisco, who said: "Deadpool's persistence to be in Good Housekeeping was impressive - initially we had no idea who he was, let alone that he was a fan of the magazine.

"But after repeated attempts to ignore his... passion... we came to a compromise.

"He could appear in one issue, if he promised to stop leaving care packages at our editors' homes and agreed to maintain a 50-foot distance from the Good Housekeeping offices and our staff."

Well, now we think we have an idea when the full official trailer might emerge. Collider reports that the trailer will start playing in theatres attached to Marvel's Black Panther film that is due to come out this February.

Also, Deadpool premiered on Valentine's Day 2016, so there is talk that they will make Deadpool 2's trailer available online on the same date in 2018.

The film will see Ryan Reynolds return as the title character, as well as Josh Brolin appearing as Cable - a favourite character from the comic books.

In fact, it's been a pretty big few weeks for Ryan. His production company Maximum Effort has just signed a three-year deal with 21st Century Fox to make films for the company after it was purchased by Disney.

There was a lot of speculation as to how the Fox assets would fit in with Disney after the deal went through, but it seems as if Reynolds will play a big part in it.

The first film that they will look to put out (with Reynolds producing it) will be a remake of the 1985 film Clue, which is in turn an adaptation of the board game of the same name (or Cluedo depending on which side of The Atlantic you live).

It is thought that Reynolds will work with the writers of Deadpool - Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick - on the project.

We. Can't. Wait.
