‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ Viewers Reckon Last Night’s Episode Was ‘Cringiest’ Ever

We know that Don't Tell The Bride isn't exactly known for its traditional white weddings, instead replacing chapel settings with rollercoasters and bridal gowns with swimming cossies (yup, true story).

We thought we'd seen it all, but viewers were dubbing last night's show the 'cringiest' yet, with many saying it was a step too far.

The episode followed the marriage of childhood sweethearts Charlie, 21, and Kain, 23.

Kain thought he'd go for a zany gangster-themed wedding, because what just screams love more than the criminal underground?

Of course, Charlie was made out to be the high-maintenance diva that the show's premise relies on - the one that jars so entertainingly with the groom's fun-loving, hedonistic ways. I know what are you like, Kain?!

Well, unsurprisingly, Charlie didn't get the princessy wedding she yearned for.

While Kain splashed out £1,300 on a lavish stag do driving luxury cars, he decided to give Charlie a low-key night in with the gals with a stripper. A female stripper.

On the big day itself, Charlie was kidnapped by Kain's suited mates, who threatened that she didn't 'realise just how dangerous this is about to get'.

Following a fake shootout, the best man gave guests a rendition of Alicia Keys' 'If I Ain't Got You' as Charlie walked down the aisle. I mean, he gave it a good stab (that song is NOT easy, as I can confirm from all the times I've attempted it in the shower), but his efforts made viewers' skin crawl so much that one wrote: "When the best man started singing I cringed myself fucking inside out."

Another person tweeted: "Wow that singing was absolutely terrible! If he sang at my wedding he'd be out the door."

Others said the problem lay more with the groom than with the best man, with one person saying: "This is the cringiest #dttb I have ever seen. That singing was horrendous."

A second wrote: "If you don't hate men already, just watch Don't Tell The Bride."

A female stripper was booked for Charlie's hen party.

Another added: "Actually can't cope with don't tell the bride, no one wants to be fake kidnapped on their wedding day and taken to a 60s gangster themed wedding. STAP."

Someone else referred to it as the 'dumbest idea' they'd ever heard, questioning: "Why would you want to do a fake shooting at your wedding? Grade A bellend."
