Drake Bell Hints There Might Be A Drake And Josh Reboot

He's teased a new project with Josh but he's staying very tight lipped about it.

Whenever nostalgia from your childhood hits, it's easily the best feeling. Whether you dust off your Hanson CD, watch old school Simpsons or even get a whiff of cooking that reminds you of an older time - nostalgia is bloody awesome.

But plenty of executives in recent years have decided to reboot our favourite shows and movies; some with good outcomes and others...not so much.

So you might be either pleased or horrified to know that Drake and Josh could get a modern update.

Drake Bell was walking the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Awards when he was asked what he was working on at the moment and a D&J reboot was certainly on the cards.

He told People: "We're working on something. I'm excited. I think we have a great idea.

"[The show] is going to be way more creative, way cooler than just you know the college years or something like that.

"We knew that if we were ever going to come back, it's got to be something cool. I'm excited to see what the fans think."

He added that the comedy in the show will be 'more adult' compared to the original which aired on Nickeloden between 2004 to 2007. Drake says he and Josh still 'click' and praised his on and off screen buddy for his 'amazing comedic wit and incredible timing'.

There's no word on when this potential reboot will come. It could even be something completely different.

Their original show recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, which certainly doesn't make us feel old whatsoever.

Fans of the duo were worried their bromance had ended after Drake was ceremoniously left out of Josh's wedding.

In June 2017, Josh got married to his long-term girlfriend Paige O'Brien. In a low-key ceremony, photos emerged of the 30-year-old with some of his co-stars from recent Fox series Grandfathered.

Drake, however, was nowhere to be seen. But it wasn't because Drake was busy writing songs for his subsequent career as a singer-songwriter, or otherwise engaged. It was simply because he wasn't invited.

He went on a bit of a Twitter vent, writing: "When you're not invited to the wedding the message is clear.

"True colours have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you brotha. Loyalty is key... ALWAYS remember where you came from."

Thankfully, it only took two months until the boys were reunited and it seemed like all was well with the world.
