Everyone in the world loves Ed Sheeran. Hell, it even went viral when all he did was take his shoes off to give them to his girlfriend.

Actually, now we think about it, that is a brilliantly impressive gesture. Let's stop being so cynical. What a gent.

Everyone loves Ed Sheeran because he is amazingly talented, seems like a genuinely nice guy, is not afraid to make kind-hearted gestures and he is always happy to have a laugh. He's a LAD.

That's why the whole world wants to see and hear about everything he does. He doesn't take himself too seriously but is still smashing his career into mega success.

So, it's only right that Ed has finally made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment as the American chat show delivers some British specials.

Every big star on the planet had appeared on the programme, apart from Ed. However, we now don't have to wait any longer.

After a bit of touchy-feely, soundtracked by 'Shape of You', Ed and James then managed to spit some lyrics in style to 'Sing'. Credit to James, he managed to more than hold his own.

The whole thing is pretty bromantically charged, actually.

Sheeran manages to fit more than 55 Maltesers in his mouth after being challenged by James (dare you to try and beat it), and then gives the host pointers on how to deliver 'Castle on the Hill'.

Is there anything Ed, can't do? Probably not, if we're honest. He seems to have the most interesting back stories in the business. Don't believe us? Well...

His Music Has Been A Bit Of A Clockblock For His Cousins' Potential Boyfriends

Some people like getting down to a bit of Ed's music. I guess it can be seen as quite romantic but damn, would you not start crying halfway through? Anyway, he explained that being related to him has been a bit of a nightmare for his female cousins.

Of one of his cousins, he told Amp Radio's Shoboy: "She just gets brought back and wooed by guys, and then they put on me to set the mood and she's like, 'Yeah, no, I'm not gonna get off to my cousin.'"

Another of his cousins was propositioned by a guy who claimed he had a hit song on the radio and his name was Ed Sheeran.

He explained: "Kathy, my cousin, just pulls out her ID and it says 'Kathy Sheeran', and she yells out: 'Look at that! Not today, mate.'"

According to NME, Styles has a video of a much younger Ed performing in a school production of Grease. He's apparently willing to publish it if Ed ever pisses him off. Which is weird, because Ed once claimed that Harry leaked his own nudes to show off his penis size.

A photo of a naked man (believed to be Harry) went viral in 2012. Ed said: "Did you know Harry leaked that picture himself? He leaked his own picture."

He was then asked whether or not a song he wrote ('Little Things') was about Harry's small penis. He said: "He definitely hasn't got a little thing, so no I did not write 'Little Things' about little things."
