The Eminem-produced movie Bodied is released in the US today and as a special treat for fans, he's bought out an entire cinema in Detroit and is offering free tickets to fans, because that's the kind of lovely fella he is.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "Come through and get #BODIED! I bought out the theatre, so tickets on me for the Friday + Saturday @BodiedMovie 6:40pm screenings at the AMC 30 in Sterling Heights."

Judging by the responses to the post, which he shared on Instagram and Twitter, the tickets will be flying out pretty damn quickly.

Bodied is a satirical comedy centring on the world of rap battles, directed by Joseph Kahn and written by Alex Larsen (who raps under the name Kid Twist).

It stars Calum Worthy as Adam, a young graduate student who is writing a thesis on the battle rap, but ends up discovering a new passion for it along the way.

It also stars Jackie Long, Shoniqua Shondai and Walter Perez.

According to the official synopsis: "Words are weapons in the world's most brutal lyrical sport. Produced by Eminem and directed by world-renowned music video director Joseph Khan, Bodied is a go-for-the-jugular, hilarious look inside the competitive world of rap battles."

If you're still not convinced, the movie has an impressive 90 percent on Rotten Tomato and a solid 7.6 on IMDB.
