The new Ted Bundy film is finally out, but it's not even Zac Efron that's stolen the show - everyone is obsessed with his bum.

In the biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which is on Netflix in the US and Sky Cinema in the UK, Zac Efron plays the notorious serial killer.

He drops his kecks a couple of times throughout the film and it appears people are more than made up with this situation, taking to Twitter to share their delight upon seeing his naked rear.

Not everyone seems to be on the same page with the film - some viewers love it, others have been left disappointed, but Zac's tush has made up for it.

Well, I suppose that's the effect a hugely successful Hollywood heartthrob tends to have when he bares his behind on screen. Anyway, people on Twitter have seen it and it's fair to say many of them are loving it:

The choice in casting for the Bundy role certainly got people talking, with some suggesting that using someone blessed with Efron's looks serves to glamourise the horrific actions of the serial killer.

Largely based around a book by Bundy's girlfriend at the time, Elizabeth Kendall, the film focuses on his life and relationship with her, more than the murders themselves.

A synopsis of the film reads: "Ted (Efron): handsome, smart, charismatic, affectionate. Liz (Collins): a single mother, cautious, but smitten. A picture of domestic bliss, the two seem to have it all figured out.

"That is until Ted is arrested and charged with a series of increasingly grisly murders.

"As concern turns to paranoia, Liz is forced to consider how well she knows the man she shares a life with and, as the evidence piles up, decide if Ted is truly a victim, or actually guilty as charged."

Bundy admitted to the murders of up to 30 women between 1974 and 1978, although the true number is thought to be higher, and remains unknown. However, he was famously known to be a charismatic and charming individual, and is portrayed as such by Efron in the film.
