It seems as though fans have been waiting an age for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie to finally hit our screens. And with so much time comes a lot of expectation, so the pressure was on for it to be a hit.

Well, the flick landed on Netflix earlier today and it looks like it's set to be a success, with those who have managed to watch it falling over themselves with praise.

Netflix decided to test the waters today to see what fans thought, asking for their spoiler-free reactions.

Replying to the streaming site's post, one viewer said: "One word: MASTERPIECE."

Another was full of praise, commenting: "EL CAMINO is the Jesse Pinkman epilogue I didn't need but always wanted and can't believe we got."

"Nominate Vince Gilligan for a Best Original Screenplay Oscar you f****** cowards," said another, calling for the show's creator to be awarded for the film.

These sentiments were echoed by another fan, who put: "#ElCamino proves that Vince Gilligan is a god not only at making TV shows but also at making movies. Fans finally learn what they'd been dying to know for years through a suspenseful, thoughtful and epic 2 hour story. What a show... there'll be nothing like it ever again."

While yet another user added: "The heartwarming closure to character that we never thought we'd get. Absolutely brilliant and captivating thought it all. Thank you Vince Gilligan. Thank you Jesse Pinkman. Thank you Aaron Paul most of all. Forever grateful for this story."

El Camino picks up from where the series left off, following on from the show's dramatic conclusion, originally shown back in 2013, which left fans with unanswered questions about the fates of various characters - especially Walter White's erstwhile partner-in-meth, Jesse Pinkman.

But if you think we will be seeing a return of Walter White, I'm afraid you will be waiting a long time.

He's dead. Yep, I'm sorry to break it to you, he's as dead as disco, folks.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the release of the new film, Gilligan didn't offer much up about what fans could expect but he did address rumours of White's survival.

He explained: "I'm gonna give you that one... Yes, Walter White is dead."
