Fans Reckon Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Reveals What Happens In Avengers: Endgame

The next instalment to the Spider-Man franchise is supposed to happen just minutes after Avengers: Infinity War.

It's only been two days since the trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer dropped and people already have more theories than the John F Kennedy assassination.

One of the bigger questions plaguing everyone is the timeline that this upcoming film is supposed to be set in.

We've been told that the upcoming Spider-Man movie, starring Tom Holland, begins just minutes after the end of Avengers: Infinity War, which, if you remember correctly, didn't end well for Peter Parker or half the universe's population.

So how in the hell could Spidey not only be alive and flying across Europe and the UK, but also how is everyone in the movie so calm?

If half the people you knew just vanished away into nothingness then you would not just be calmly going on a holiday and having a fun time. There would be utter chaos.

So that's led to some fans believing that the remaining Avengers in Endgame manage to travel back in time and reverse what Thanos did or even go back further and prevent him from ever being able to get the Infinity gauntlet.

There has been a longstanding theory that Dr Strange was going to be the one who possessed the ability to save the fate of the world.

People were kind of annoyed with Strange when he handed over the Time Stone to Thanos in Infinity War, but that anger is very short sighted when you're dealing with this superhero.

The Sorcerer Supreme is able to look into the future and work out millions of possibilities.

So fans are thinking that Strange handed over his precious stone because he knew that was the only direction he could go in order to ensure the survival of the universe.

A Redditor wrote: "He knew that Thanos had to snap his fingers at that exact right time and under all these certain conditions for them to win. He's setting up Captain Marvel's return to Earth.

"I believe he'll appear in the Captain Marvel movie and tell Fury it is vital for him to carry around with him the pager to contact Captain Marvel.

The Captain Marvel film, with Brie Larson cast as the female superhero, comes out just two months before Avengers 4, so if we see a cameo from Benedict Cumberbatch then you'll know this theory is true.
