Following the news that Power's sixth season would be its last, it's since been revealed that a sequel series is in pre-production.
Showrunner Courtney Kemp and Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, have both teased a number of spin-off ideas, including sequels and prequels.

And its since been announced that one of the promised spin-offs, titled Power Book II: Ghost, is now in pre-production and is set to star RnB royalty Mary J Blige.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association's press tour this week Kemp said: "We have alluded previously to various spin-offs, prequels, and other expansions of the Power universe.
"Today we are pleased to announce that we are in pre-production on the first of what we know will be a collection of series inspired by the dynamic world of Power. Power Book II: Ghost will continue the journey of some of Power's most controversial characters."

The spin-off will centre on Blige's character, but details on who she will be are being kept strictly under wraps for the time being.
Meanwhile, Starz programming boss Carmi Ziotnik has said the 15-episode sixth season will be show in two parts.
The first part, consisting of 10 episodes, would premier on 25 August and the last five will be shown in early January.
TheWrap has also reported that for the last season, it will get its own aftershow called Power Confidential, which will air immediately after each episode.

The final season has been dubbed 'the final betrayal' in teaser pics online, but for now, plot details are scarce.
Announcing that the show would end after its sixth season, Zlotnik said: "Season six brings us to the end of what we know is just the first chapter of the Power story. However, as one chapter comes to an end, another will begin.
"Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent have created a world rich with complex and dynamic characters, and there are a number of stories we plan to tell as we continue to explore and expand the Power universe."
Since then there's been plenty of rumours and speculation about what this could entail.

Late last year, Jackson told his 23million Instagram followers he was working on a prequel.
He posted: "My Power spin-off is so crazy I'm doing the prequel. Wait till you see this shit , TGE influence (The Golden Era) Southside we outside 1988." Alongside a snap of him dressed all in black, sat with a couple of retro cop cars.
Power returns to Starz in the US on 25 August, while Netflix broadcasts the show in the UK.
