The sequel will be based around Irvine Welsh's follow up novel to Trainspotting, Porno.
Given that the last time we saw the cast they were struggling with heroin addiction and unemployment, they look to be doing well for themselves thanks to their pornography ventures.

The stars were spotted filming outside of the Scottish Parliament building in Edinburgh.
Speaking about working in Scotland, director Danny Boyle said: "I feel very fortunate and grateful to be able to make films, and to be able to always have a choice in what I do.
"Coming back to Edinburgh has actually been really fascinating, since filming the first Trainspotting Edinburgh has changed dramatically. You can see the gentrification massively in the city."
Despite the fact the film is yet to have an official release date, it is believed to be released during 2017.
