First 'Suicide Squad' Pre-Screening Viewers Left Amazed With What They Saw

Can't wait now!

I can't remember a movie having as much hype for so long as Suicide Squad has.

Whether the marketing team have been taking tips from the guys and girls who did Deadpool, we don't know, but barely a week goes by without Suicide Squad finding itself back in the headlines.

With an all-star cast including Margot Robbie, Jared Leto and Will Smith, it's no surprise the movie has attracted such media attention. And we've barely even heard about Cara Delevingne's portrayal of Enchantress yet.

Such hype usually means the film is going to have to deliver on every single level to justify itself to the audience. Deadpool managed it, but will Suicide Squad be able to match the hype?

Judging by the social media reviews in the first pre-screening, directors, producers and actors have nothing to worry about when it comes to delivery.

According to ComicBook.com, the film screened for the first time on Friday night in the Century 25 cinema in Union City, California, to a small audience. That small audience were not left disappointed.

Several of the Twitter reviews were nothing short of glowing...

I'm not going to pretend like I'm not jealous, I've been waiting patiently for this movie for what seems like forever and now that it's almost here, I'm absolutely buzzing. Tweets like these don't exactly help.

There are a catalogue of hype articles about Suicide Squad doing the rounds if this hasn't wet your appetite for the movie including Jared Leto's psychotic preparation to play The Joker, Will Smith's branding of the movie 'bad vs evil' and Margot Robbie getting into character as Harley Quinn.

I can't wait for August 5 now.
