Football Replaces 'I'm A Celebrity' And All Sorts Of Mayhem Commences

Shock. Horror. Defiance. Denial.

So the important question in life is whether you'd rather watch Larry Lamb talk about his many adventures, see Carol Vorderman grace our screens or watch England play football in a bullshit friendly against Spain and see a guy most known for missing penalties manage the team?

Tough one, isn't it?

And don't lie, we all know you'd choose 'I'm A Celeb'.

So it's confirmed that tonight's Geordie fest (certainly the Xtra Factor one), is 'cancelled' so we can watch Danny Rose perform miracles on the flank and Eric Dier be as solid as a rock in defensive mid. No more Bush Tucker Trials for you bonza mate!

But OMFG fam, and are you ready for this?... Jesus wept... Scarlett Moffatt and former Channel 4's Vords WILL NOT NOW COMPETE in the 'Big Bush Bake Off Trial' on air tomorrow, meaning we can't go into extra details about the cringey metaphor or whatever that entails.

SHOCK! It's almost like they didn't read the TV guide or something!

Bearing in mind we're terribly shit at football and can't beat a team with a population of 230k, less than a week of Rooney's wages, and some part-time dudes showed us how it's done, it's not surprising we're apoplectic about the reality that we have to watch England play a sub-par (guaranteed) match against Spain in an abominable friendly, whose best player is Roberto Soldado, though he is badly maligned and absolutely... definitely won't play.

To be honest, you're all going to say 'good', but what you actually mean is 'oh God I wanted to see that hockey player talk about politics'.

Here's the moment Twitter lost its actual shit...

Basically, there are hundreds of tweets like this, and I can fully understand why, though I don't have the time or inclination to show them all to you. Make do with these.

Come on Wayne Bridge, give us something to talk about, even if we're (not quite sure) what it is yet.
