If I had to pick one character from Game of Thrones to have a spin-off series once the show eventually ends, I don't think I could decide on just one.
Westeros is so full of compelling characters I wouldn't want to have a spin-off involving one without having the others readily available to change the pace of the story as they do so well in the current series.
But what I want doesn't really matter because apparently HBO have already been in talks with none other than Kit Harrington to see if he'd be interested in a spin-off series involving fan favourite Jon Snow.

A senior executive supposedly confirmed to the Daily Express 'exploratory talks' had already taken place.
A source said: "One of the hardest things in showbiz is trying to keep an ensemble cast together and there's no doubt that, when Thrones finally comes to a close, most members will head off to pursue fresh projects."
Apparently any spin-off would also involve other characters from the cast making appearances as and when necessary.

Harrington is already supposedly earning more than £500,000 per episode of Game of Thrones at the moment so any spin-off would probably need an equally big budget to keep him in the role.
HBO have not officially commented on the rumours and, as we all know, nothing would happen for two years at least anyway while producers David Benioff and D.B Weiss finish off the television series.
