Gogglebox Australia Is Looking For A New Round Of Families To Film

Gogglebox Australia Is Looking For A New Round Of Families To Film

When it was first announced, people weren't really on board with the concept of Gogglebox. Why the hell would people want to watch people watch television?

However, it seems like people have absolutely lapped it up.

The show has been going since early 2015 in Australia and every season brings with it a whole host of zingers and hilarious one-liners from the show's loveable characters.

But if you've been watching the show for the better part of five years and been dying to get on, now is your chance.

Channel 10 has just opened up a casting call for new groups to be featured on the show, so you better get in quick.

"Are you a household that loves to watch TV? Do you like to comment on the TV that you see? Can you see yourself joining the couch critics on Gogglebox?" the ad reads.

"If so, EndemolShine Australia is currently casting for the next series of Gogglebox, and are looking for witty and warm people who love everything about TV and want to share their views with Australia.

The company says they're looking for a variety of households of different ages, backgrounds and make up. You have to live in Sydney, Brisbane, The Gold Coast or Melbourne, and you have to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Simples.

"We are continuing to audition for Gogglebox," Foxtel boss Brian Walsh told TV Tonight last month.

"We were in Queensland [for the first time] looking for new cast but didn't quite find the right ingredients."

Just jot your details in the application page and cross your fingers and toes that producers reckon you've got what it takes to make Australia laugh at what you say and think.
