June Bernicoff and her late husband Leon were two of the shining stars of Channel 4's hit series Gogglebox.
Which is why the nation shed a tear when Leon passed away back in 2017, leaving June struggling to even watch TV anymore.

Ouch, my heart.
In a touching reminder of Leon's kind-hearted spirit, June opened up to Graham Norton on his BBC Radio 2 show today about how her husband wanted to entertain right to the end.
See, following Leon's death, Channel 4 aired the Gogglebox Christmas special - the last episode he ever filmed - which included a touching tribute to the reality TV star.
However, per June's account, he nearly didn't make it onto the episode as he was unwell, but was determined to pull through and do his thing.

She said: "He hadn't been very well over the weekend and I suggested he didn't do it, and the office got in touch and he said: 'I'm sitting here in my Christmas jumper waiting to entertain the nation!'
"Such a diva, really!"
What an absolute trouper. And if that weren't enough to warm the cockles of your heart, apparently June still meets up with the show's crew members - despite the fact that she no longer stars on the show.

Fans flocked to Twitter to express their support of June and their tributes to Leon, with one writing: "June, it was so lovely to hear you, you're a wonderful lady and Leon is missed."
Another wrote: "Getting choked up listening to interview with June from #Gogglebox".
It's certainly been a tough time for June since losing her hubby. After all, the couple had been married for 57 years. They shot to fame in 2013 when they joined as two of Gogglebox's series regulars.
But before you reach for the Kleenex again, the 81-year-old insists that she's not lonely and still sometimes watches the show as it brings back a lot of happy memories.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "It's such a big part of me, and the other stars are like family members, in a way.

"I miss Leon's company and his voice in the house, and the way he made me laugh.
"But he always said that if he passed away before me, I had to stay positive and keep going.
"I remembered that, and that is what I have done."
