​Harry Redknapp Bookies’ Favourite To Win ‘I’m A Celebrity’

Harry Redknapp has become the bookies' favourite to win this year's I'm A Celebrity, with viewers loving him so much that Oddschecker has now put the odds as 1/1 for Redknapp winning, followed by actress Emily Atack at 8/1.

He's been winning everyone over not only with his one-liners and quips, but also his endearing comments about wife Sandra, who he's been married to for 54 years.

In yesterday's episode he referred to his relationship with her as being like 'winning the lottery', telling fellow campmates Fleur East and Sair Khan: "Even when I'm out I ring her 10 times a day. She's my life. I'm a bit scared, getting a bit older. I love her too much, if anything happened it would just kill me."

"We just get on so well, I only want to be with her. I can never wait to see her."

In this evening's episode he also said the only woman he was interested in seeing in a bikini was Sandra - saying he wasn't interested in ogling at anyone washing in the iconic jungle shower.

"They certainly don't interest me," he said.

"There's only one woman I wanna see in a bikini in the shower and that's my wife."

Praising Redknapp's comments, one viewer tweeted: "Harry Redknapp is an absolute gentleman! Went to shower and didn't even look at the girls, turned around and looked at the ground!! And said he only wanted to see his wife in a bikini! Omfg I love him!! He loves his wife so damn much!!"

Another added: "Harry redknapp turning his back whilst the girls in camp shower in bikinis & saying the only woman he wants to see in a bikini is his wife, is the purest thing ever man. Honestly, what a guy."

A third said: "Harry Redknapp proved that romance truly isn't dead in the jungle when his female camp mates where having a shower he looked away because the only woman he'd want to see in a bikini is his wife he's such a gentleman."

He's also already proven he's also got balls, having chowed down on sheep's brains this evening alongside Noel Edmonds. The pair also had to put a range of insects into their mouths - including cockroaches, a beetle and a huntsman spider - which didn't look particularly pleasant.

Oh, and he also put himself forward as the camp's unofficial 's**t shoveler', saying he was happy to do the dirty work as he has no sense of smell.

What a guy!
