While on I'm A Celebrity Scarlett Moffatt told her camp mates that she had paid off her parent's mortgage since finding fame on Gogglebox.
Which left some people wondering just how much the stars of Gogglebox get paid to sit around watching telly. Well, it's actually not very much at all, a Gogglebox insider told the Sun that each of the families is given an allowance of £1,500 a month.
For the £1,500 the families must commit to 12 hours filming per week, split into two six hour sessions. They also get free takeaways to keep them going.

Anyway, now seems like a good a time as any to throwback to the time all the fellas lost it over how gorgeous Nigella Lawson is on the show...

How the families choose to split the £1,500 is up to them, but its fair to say that Scarlett's share wasn't going to be paying off her folk's mortgage.

Since appearing on the show Scarlett has become a celebrity in her right, and is likely to have used the money she earned from her best-selling book, as well as some of her wages from her job as a breakfast radio host on Capital North West. She's also rumoured to have picked up £70,000 for her appearance on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
And she's got the obligatory reality TV star fitness DVD out soon, too.
