Many TV shows from the good ol' days never get the comeback they deserve, despite the fact we live in an age where producers can see our incessant begging on social media, knowing full well there's a strong enough market for it.
But while our calls for a Fresh Prince of Bel Air reboot seem to go ignored, there's one classic series we are getting a return of, and that's Supermarket Sweep.
That's right, it's time for us to go wild in the aisles once again, and while we don't yet have a release date for the new instalment, we do know it will be on our screens 'soon'.
The original UK programme was fronted by Dale Winton and ran from 1993 to 2001 on ITV, along with a brief revival in 2007.

The premise was as simple as it sounded, with teams answering trivia questions before going against each other in a timed race through a supermarket. The contestants with the most valuable items in their trolley at the end win. Easy.
Winton sadly passed away last year, but a brand new host has been confirmed in the form of former X-Factor star Rylan Clark-Neal, who's earned his presenting stripes on the likes of This Morning and Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
Revealing the exciting news, Clark-Neal tweeted: "Been waiting a while to say this but it's finally time to GO WILD IN THE AISLES ONCE AGAIN! Supermarket Sweep is back, and I can't wait for you to CHECK IT OUT. See you soon on @itv2 #SupermarketSweep."
"We're so pleased to be working with Thames on this re-booted version of the ITV classic game show," said Paul Mortimer, ITV's head of digital channels and acquisitions.

And if you want to get a strong dose of first-hand nostalgia, you can even apply to appear on the new series.
Whether you're a couple, mates, colleagues or family members, producers are looking for 'fun, outgoing and dynamic' duos to take part, so if you're interested, you can apply by emailing [email protected].
