Holly Willoughby Cries Tears Of Unholy Regret After Tucking Into Spicy Morrisons Curry

Holly Willoughby Cries Tears Of Unholy Regret After Tucking Into Spicy Morrisons Curry

She won't be eating that again

Morrisons has launched what it claims is Britain's hottest supermarket curry and, I'm going to be honest, I was a little sceptical. So, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to get down there so I could try it myself. And try it I did, in the office, with a colleague looking on.

Let's just say that I'm no longer as dubious about the heat it packs - and I'm currently on said colleague's Instagram story, red in the face with tears in my eyes. That's not unlike This Morning's Holly Willoughby, who made exactly the same mistake earlier today:

She, along with co-host Phillip Schofield and presenter Rylan Clark, decided to tuck into Morrisons' new 'Volcanic Vindaloo', which is made from notoriously spicy Naga chillis.

"Ready? Three, two, one," Holly counted down before they all chowed out.

Holly was the first to respond. She looked down and gathered her breath. It only got worse for her from there.

She began coughing and gagging as she reached out for a glass of milk.

"You begin to feel the burn," Phil remarked - as Holly's eyes teared up.

"You feel it right there," Holly said gesturing to her throat.

But Phil went in for another bite.

"You're going in again?!" she responded.

"I like hot food," he said before grabbing another forkful.

If you're wonder what the fuck was going on, it's all in anticipation of Britain's National Curry Week, with the supermarket announcing yesterday that it was releasing the 'hottest supermarket curry ever made in the UK'.

The new 'Volcanic Vindaloo' is that spicy because it contains Naga chillies, which are two hundred times hotter than a Jalapeño.

Morrisons Ready Meals Expert, Sean Gill, said: "Curry fans have been telling us that they just don't get the fiery heat they want from ordinary ready meal curries. So we decided to take up their challenge and create the hottest ready meal in the country - something with the extreme heat you get when you order a Vindaloo in your favourite restaurant. We're looking forward to hearing what they think."

The 'Volcanic Vindaloo' is available from all Morrisons stores, for a limited period, priced at £1.50.
