Honey G Banned From Rapping Over Song Which Sampled David Bowie

She's under pressure!

Honey G plans to perform Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' on Saturday, but David Bowie's estate have told her that she can't make up her own lyrics.

The song samples Bowie and Queen's 'Under Pressure' and Metro reports that his estate has, "been very reluctant in letting her use the song," according to a 'source'.

This same person has reportedly said that she can't, "make it her own in any way and must stick to Vanilla Ice's version."

For someone who's whole career is based on getting the audience to shout back to her, this is probably the last thing she wants to hear.

The source added: "Honey is really nervous because her biggest draw is all the gimmicks and personal touches she puts on her raps.

"Now she really has to stick to the format, so she doesn't want to cause any problems. This could really make or break her."

I don't want to have a massive go at her, she gave something a go and it's spiralled into success that was completely unprecedented - but come on. At best, she'll release a piss-take Christmas album, do a few tours of nightclubs where people will get her photo and an autograph for a tenner a pop and then she'll go the same way as Chico, Wagner and what's his face.
