If you've always fancied going into the a I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp but your lack of celeb status has held you back, then I have good news for you - ITV is bringing the experience to a theme park in Salford Quays.
Yup, you won't need to endure a 20+ hour flight to get your chance to check out Snake Rock, Base Camp and Croc Creek because the TV network is opening the indoor I'm A Celebrity... Jungle Challenge.

ITV has said visitors won't come into contact with any live animals - explaining that 'virtual' animals will likely be used instead - however, those designing the attraction are reported to be working out how bugs and creepy crawlies can be used so fans can have a go at the notorious Bushtucker Trials. Rather them than me.
Speaking to the BBC, William van Rest, ITV's director of games, live and merchandising, said: "It's inspired by the show, and we're trying to create a jungle as closely as we can. Some of the games within I'm A Celebrity are things like treetop challenges, and one of the team who helps create the games for I'm A Celebrity is helping us with this."
The jungle experience will offer fans of the show a 90-minute action packed challenge, which includes zip wires, climbing walls, mazes and parachute drops - all while collecting stars in the hopes of getting themselves crowned as King or Queen of the Jungle.

Although you'll not be greeted by hosts Ant and Dec, the production team from the TV show have been involved with designing the attraction, so we can expect it to look pretty spot on.
The I'm A Celebrity... Jungle Challenge will form part of the Watergardens development, situated near the Lowry Outlet Mall in Salford, Greater Manchester.
An official opening date hasn't been announced yet, but it's thought to be some time next year - tickets will go on sale in due course.

In the meantime, the show is set to be back on our screens next month, so we can all enjoy sitting down after a long day and watching people you vaguely remember from somewhere knocking back a smoothie made of camel b******* and fish eyes.
